Its Halloween time!

So it is officially the beginning of Halloween weekend 2010. Since Halloween is on a Sunday this year, best believe all of LA has been partying since Weds.  This year, I am opting out of the festivities.  Why you ask? Since one would think that as a makeup artist, I would be dying to get my hands on someone..... Honestly, I think its because I want to continue working.  Im going through this drive of wanting to constantly work and build my resume, my network, my lookbook/portfolio that I just want to keep pressing on until I feel like I have a solid ground.

So, since I cant exactly blog about my crazy makeup ideas, nor do I have the energy for advise, here are some links to funny Halloween makeup tutorials and some that may inspire you last minute Halloweeners ;)

Silva Confessionals

Second day blogging, I am on a roll!

Ok so today, Im in the NoHo arts district getting the Silva twins & Miss Minxy herself, Carole Shepherd ready for the confessional shoot for an upcoming project. Again, a lot of fun... and I feel so blessed for these opportunities.  They are amazing and inspirational for any young woman today... I do hope that you all will soon enjoy learning about these three women :) But, until then here are some behind the scenes pics!

Currupt Couture I

Yesterday, the 24th -- I got a call in the morning to work with Mr.Robert Rae on a trade shoot for port pics.  THIS is what I have been needing and the timing could not have been better... the experience, to top it off, was amazing! Below are a few pictures of our Lady Gaga inspired shoot with Currupt Couture -- there are plenty more to come.  Danyka  (the first two looks) was such a sweetheart, and a good sport considering she sat in my chair for almost three hours! ha, and Laura was super fun to work with too! Glam squad did amazing together! I cant wait to hopefully collabo with all of you again!

Its a new day. Therefore, I had the urge to begin writing without the stress of what has happened, what I was thinking, or what I was doing. 

I have been wanting to start this blog for so long, however never starting it because I felt that I had to share my entire story by giving you (or whom ever reads this) a detailed recap of the past... thus leading me to put off writing for so long because the simple stress of over thinking and trying to culminate multiple thoughts....... while - wanting to write in an engaging way to make one feel AS IF they are here along side me, with every notion of what had happened in my head ... We all know how that plan ended! Complete and utter Fail. (yes with a capital F).

Its already the end of October and there is still not a decent blog on here. So, moving on -- I have decided that this is going to be a place where I can, relax.  A place where I can proverbially blurt, word vomit, speak out about whatever is on my mind... Ill be able to rant about the stupidities of my day (sometimes I can get spacey), but most importantly -- share all of the interesting happenings that I have been encountering while living down here in Los Angeles. I feel as if I need a place to share, possibly boast - with pictures - give myself the courage I need for.... well, me -- and to note all the deep "inner" thoughts I seem to be having on day to day basis (cuz i can get pretty lost when I dont share).

So there. TADA! This is my new blog, I'm excited and I hope that I keep this up. Where to start with this story? Im not going to start anywhere... I'm just going to jump in. :)
